Aba Prefecture Pre-Trip Notice

  • Due to the vastness of Aba Prefecture, travel distances can be long. Visitors should be mentally prepared for extended road journeys.

  • The region experiences rapid weather changes and significant temperature differences between day and night, with a daily variation of around 10°C. Please bring warm clothing, sun protection items, and rain gear. Comfortable flat shoes or sneakers are recommended for travel.

  • Given the lengthy travel routes, high altitudes, and significant climate differences, travelers should carry essential personal medications according to their own health needs (e.g., cold medicine, anti-diarrhea pills, motion sickness tablets).

  • Please remember to bring your personal ID card, which is required for hotel check-ins and entering scenic areas. Also bring your own personal travel items (Jiuzhaigou promotes environmental protection, so guests are encouraged to use their own toiletries, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels, etc.).

  • Due to natural conditions and local culinary preferences, restaurants along the route may not match the service levels, facilities, or food quality of more developed tourist regions. The travel agency will make every effort to coordinate and accommodate the needs of all travelers.

  • During the trip and periods of free activity, please take care of and supervise your children. Minors should not be allowed to act alone, and their safety must be ensured at all times.

  • Keep your luggage and valuables safe at all times. Important items such as cash, securities, and valuables should be carried with you.

  • Souvenir stalls and shops near scenic areas or rest stops may sell local items such as religious articles, Rhodiola products, or winter clothing. Please note that convenience stores, hotel gift shops, and roadside vendors are not part of the official shopping itinerary and are not affiliated with the travel agency. Be cautious when purchasing local goods or souvenirs from residents.

  • Before visiting a scenic area, make sure to remember the meeting point, time, and your assigned tour bus number as instructed by your guide.

  • If going out at night or during free time, please inform your tour guide or group members. Always be mindful of personal safety.

  • During free time, respect local customs and avoid illegal or inappropriate entertainment venues. Remember the phone numbers of your guide, driver, and tour leader, as well as your hotel’s name and front desk number, for emergency contact. Do not take unauthorized rickshaws, tricycles, motorcycle taxis, or unlicensed vehicles.
